How to crop image

Cut an image down to exactly the part you want. Drag a box over a live preview or type pixel coordinates, lock it to a ratio like 1:1 or 16:9, and the crop is applied to the original file at full resolution — never to the preview.

Frequently asked questions

Will the cropped image lose quality?
The pixels you keep are untouched — cropping only removes what is outside the box. The editor works on a preview, but the cut itself happens on the original file, so a box drawn on a 6000-pixel photo comes back in full 6000-pixel detail.
Can I crop to an exact size?
Yes. The X, Y, width and height fields take exact pixel values and stay in step with the box as you drag it, so you can fine-tune a visual crop down to the pixel.
What happens with several images at once?
The box you draw on the first image is applied to all of them. If another image is smaller than the box, the box is trimmed to what fits that image — you are warned when sizes differ.
Which aspect ratios are there?
Free, 1:1 for profile pictures, 4:3, 16:9 for covers and thumbnails, 3:2, and 9:16 for stories and reels. With a ratio locked, resizing the box keeps the shape exact.
